MinterEllison Adelaide sits in the heart of the Adelaide CBD, amidst an array of 1970’s brutalist buildings with their concrete palette and care for detailing. With this rich context, the workplace refurbishment introduced an internal stair across three levels, pocket “garden” collaboration spaces and a centralised breakout with a workplace planning philosophy to enable agile working. The project sources Australian stone, timbers and fabrics including refurbishing existing furniture. The result is a calm, contemporary workplace that sits quietly in it’s surrounds.
