LCM’s Australian flagship venue is a pre-war heritage warehouse which has been celebrated through the layering of unique programs Roasting lab, Tasting room and Workplace. With the visitors are taken on a journey across three levels each celebrating a different facet of the business. Ground floor hosts the cafe, roasting lab and tasting room, the first floor is a functioning workspace and office with the third level housing meeting spaces, a kitchen and an outdoor deck that looks over Clarendon St in South Melbourne. A single steel clad stair connects the three levels, a sculptural form that wraps up through a singular void that sits below a skylight that pulls sunlight through every level.
